This position is primarily responsible for selling deposit accounts, consumer services and consumer loans;
processing a variety of account transactions and maintaining service delivery channels; and ensuring that
customers receive excellent customer service with enthusiasm, accuracy, and efficiency.
Ensures positive public perception by extending a courteous greeting and welcome to customers
and visitors; provides quality customer service in meeting their needs; provides walk‐in and phone‐in
customers with information and sales presentations.
Sells deposit accounts and consumer services to new and existing customers. Assesses customer needs and
determines products to fulfill those needs.
Opens new accounts, verifies and processes changes to existing accounts, responds to inquiries,
and resolves related account problems to ensure customer satisfaction.
Balances individual cash drawer and vault cash; processes wire transfers, performs related postings and
Performs deposit, withdrawal and payment transactions for customers.
Develops and maintains customer relationships and recognizes referral opportunities to Commercial Lending,
Treasury Management, Mortgage Lending and Private Banking
Facilitates consumer lending application, underwriting, and approval within signing authority levels
Establishes and supports consumer electronic banking and card services
Cross checks set up and maintenance performed by others, ensures timely scanning and indexing of related
Performs routine start/ end‐of‐day functions including closing the location under dual control.

Required Skills and Experience
• Previous banking, cash handling, customer service, supervisory and/or sales experience
• Familiarity with new account opening and consumer lending processes
• Excellent communication skills and outstanding attention to detail
• Competence with MS Office products and general office equipment
• Minimum of a high school diploma required
